Banksia layers #1
The Bangalay sand forest is an endangered ecological community in NSW, stretching along the coast from Sydney way down south. I went there to do lots of drawings, then turned them into screens. Printed on found pieces of plywood these works are warm and textural: the technique of overprinting the screens evokes the layers of vegetation along the NSW south coast, which has to be one of my favourite places for a holiday.
Overprinted screenprint of native botanical drawings on found plywood. Finished and protected in beeswax. Ready to hang with a hand made wire loop on the back. Artwork dimensions are 15cm x 32cm x 2cm.
I'll package up your ScrapWood artwork carefully in bubblewrap, and send it out to you through Australia Post. It costs AUD $22 to Australian addresses, and roughly double that, if you live overseas.
You can return this artwork, but before you do, please get in touch by email to discuss options at firstname.lastname@example.org.
