Bottle Abstract in blue
The bottle, one of my favourite subjects. I often return to painting portraits of bottles, empty and half full, casting their long shadows across the kitchen table. This one, painted in acrylic on a wonky piece of found masonite was once a completely different artwork, the remnants of which can still be seen in the layers below. The work was then sealed in beeswax because this then completes the work, seals the deal - I can change it no more. Make of this what you will.
Acrylic on masonite finished with beeswax. Ready to hang.
Irregular edges due to the nature of the found materials.
Dimensions are 40 x 45 x .5cm.
I'll package up your artwork carefully in bubblewrap, and send it out to you by courier. If you live overseas please get in touch for an estimate for freight.
