Community Garden Oddment - Foraged Plants #4

This piece, saved from the very first Community Garden Art Project back in 2019, is devoted to foraged plants collected around Sydney's Inner West.
 
This handsome piece of fabric is ready for you to embellish with gloriously imperfect embroidery. You'll get into a flow state and enjoy the mental health benefits of slow-stitching. Once you've finished you could use the piece to repair something you've loved and bring it back to life.
Perhaps it's a  worn out cushion cover that you stitch this artwork onto, or maybe you've got an old calico shopping bag that could do with some attention. Or keep as is and stretch over a frame. Basically it's an artwork, but not just for the wall. 

This unique hand-stencilled piece features Bottlebrush, gumnuts, pansies and a few flowering weeds. All based on the drawings that Community Gardeners have sent to me from around Australia.
