This happy little Kookaburra is printed onto a beautiful heavyweight cotton rag paper, created locally here in the Blue Mountains. The original artwork I made in 2017 as a one off stencil print. This was part of an artist/designer 12 day long residency at NSW State Library where I got to search through their archives focussing on the Library's early settler artworks. I created a total of 12 pieces - one a day - and this kookaburra was the first.
