SweetSpot Collaborative Printmaking Workshop

Who fancies working on a collaborative fabric piece with me? During the week of 18-22 Feb I will be working on a new series of textile designs, literally printing the prototype lengths in the window of the Australian Design Centre in Sydney. I thought it would be great fun on the last day of this endeavour, to invite a bunch of people in to work together to print a unique length of fabric, the product of our collective labour and imaginations. I will be kind of like a mini LookDrawPrint workshop, except we will be using the cut paper stencils that I developed right there, in that very week at ADC.

There will be three x one hour long workshops running between 11 and 4 pm on Saturday 22nd. All together 24 people will work together with me to create the work. At the end of the day, I’ll be cutting the fabric into panels. Everyone who participated will take home a piece to develop into their own project. Down the track, we plan to come together again, and create an exhibition of the work that everyone has made. I think it's going to be really good.
