This is the 36th piece I've made as part of my 10,000 hours clay project. They reckon it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill and right now I'm at the start of that journey, numbering each pot to document the process. 
 
This chimney vase is handbuilt using paperclay with black stain and a satin clear glaze.
