Community Garden Oddment - Inner West garden
This handsome piece from The Community Garden Art Project is devoted to those diligent Inner West Sydney Gardeners. It is the remaining piece of my very first Community Garden project created on the table in the Happenstore on Parramatta Road.
Ive been holding on to it for many years but finally it is ready for you to embellish with some gloriously imperfect embroidery. You'll get into a flow state and enjoy the mental health benefits of slow-stitching. Once you've finished you can use the piece to turn into something new - a cushion cover or an artwork perhaps.
This piece is based on the native plants, vegetables and weed drawings sent to me from Community Gardeners of Sydneys Inner West.
