Gang Gang Cockatoo
These sweet and very distinctive cockatoos live near us in the Mountains, but in the past few years have gone from thriving to threatened. We used to see big flocks of adolescent gang gangs flying around squawking like rusty gates and mating pairs diligently raising their young - feeding time on the same tree every evening in summer is 5pm sharp!
But now sadly, there seems to be fewer of these birds around our home. We still see them but no where near as often as before the big bush fires in 2019 that nearly took our home.
I painted the original Gang gang portrait for my partner, as this bird is her all time favourite and decided to make some digital copies to hang in our Rough Track Cabins. People love them so I've made some more to sell here.
Im offering in the one size only at this stage but if you would like a bigger one, get in touch.
