Waratah - Hand coloured Linoprint
$175.00Price
This Telopea speciosissima or Waratah, is a lino print, hand coloured with acrylic and wax crayon. Printed as an artists proof trial on bank paper it has been waxed for durability and texture.
We all love Waratahs especially when you catch sight of them growing wild. When they are blooming here in the Mountains around October / November time, you can see them from a long way away.
In local First Nations Eora language, the word for Waratah is Warada. This translates to " seen from afar" Makes perfect sense.
