This is the 37th pot I've made as part of my 10,000 hours clay project. They reckon it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill and right now I'm at the start of that journey, numbering each pot to document the process. 
 
This carved cup is handbuilt by me, using paperclay, decorated with iron oxide and a black glaze inside.
