Community Garden Oddment - Australian Natives #3
Leftover piece from The Community Garden Art Project devoted to Australian Native plants in 2023. This handsome piece is ready for you to embellish with some gloriously imperfect embroidery. You'll get into a flow state and enjoy the mental health benefits of slow-stitching. Once you've finished you can use the piece to repair or improve something you love - like a faded old cushion cover or some boring curtains. Or you can make something from scratch, an artwork perhaps. Pockets on things are always a good bet. Embroidered Community Garden pockets would be a winner!
This unique hand-stencilled piece features Banksias, Sturt's Desert pea, Isopogon, Eucalyptus leaves, a flowering gum, gumnuts and ferns. All from drawings sent to me from Community Gardeners around Australia
It costs AUD 18 to ship by registered mail with Australia Post.
Stencil printed on patchworked deadstock linen.
Approx 41cm x 45cm.
I'm not sure why you'd want to return this unique hand printed beauty, but if you do, please get in touch by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
